davis repository won’t send scionwood to most of us but the foundation plant service still has very good prices on the fruit varieties most popular with growers. Scionwood is one dollar per stick and buds are .40 each. They also sell seed for rootstock at something like ten cents each. They will sell these to any interested grower. I just assumed that in progress meant they were not for sale yet so I did not try to order any of those varieties. The only problem for your area I could see is that you need a good storage. My scions came over a month ago.
