“It has the crisp, juicy texture of Honeycrisp and the rich flavor of Zestar! but with a slight tropical twist.”
I’m not sure I like the name Kudos, but at least it’s better than Honeystar or Zescrisp.

Crispstar sounds good
At least the article had a picture.
Would have been nice had they mentioned that it is likely quite hardy (Minnesota) and what its possible resistances might be.
Ive heard from a local apple producer that the tropical flavor is similar to mango. He said he realt enjoyed it and plans to plant a couple hundred this next spring
I’m not sure if that is good or bad considering there are hundreds of mangos. Also I’ve had mangos that I disliked enough to just throw them out. The ones that arrive from Mexico in September I love.
I’ve had some mangos that have a flavor I would describe as a peppery/spicy carrot flavor, the kind of flavor that lingers in your mouth and back of your throat and you feel it when exhaling. NOT my favorite mango flavor for sure.
Questions I have are, does it have the big cells that give Honeycrisp and not Zestar its super crunchiness and does it avoid the rot problems that often makes Honeycrisp a very difficult apple?
I plan to see if I like Triumph first.
