Unknown Berry/Fruit ID. I have no idea what this is or if it is eatable

Does the fruit grow on a shrub, or on a vine? Can we get a close up of the fruit itself?

Here a picture of some creeping cucumber? that grew wild on some of my bushes here in Atlanta Ga but I don’t think I had any black ones? I eat some with no problems but they weren’t very good.
