‘USDA Red’ Spinach

Does anyone grow or know where one could find ‘USDA Red’ spinach seeds?

I’ve noticed in my garden that red-leaved greens (mizuna, mustard, lettuce, etc.) received far less slug and bug damage than green-leaved varieties. So, I searched for red-leaved spinach and was surprised there weren’t many options. It seems the only fully red-leaved spinach is ‘USDA Red’ but I can’t find seed available for it. ‘Red Tabby’ and ‘Beaujolais’ have red veining but I’m not sure that will be red enough for surviving in my garden.

not exactly the same, but USDA red seems to have had “bordeaux” as a parent, so maybe Beaujolais Organic Spinach - Fedco Seeds would work? or breeding both those two red veined ones? idk

Oh cool! Those Fedco Beaujolais look way more red-leaved than the Southern Exposure Beaujolais. Neither have as much red as ‘USDA Red’ but that’s definitely worth a shot, thanks!
