in that case, if you stick to M or MM series rootstock and “old” apple varieties. Than you should be fine. And with the M and MM series(like M9 and MM111 for example) you can make your own stoolbed. By planting a few rootstocks horizontally. That way you can even propagate your own rootstock.

I don’t think so. But, B10 is I think. B118 not.
I’ve seen some B-9 trees that I think are something else…as B9 doesn’t caliper up very quick. (Nor does some of the Geneva roots).
