What blueberry ailment is this?

So, I have Blueberries in pots because my soil is too alkaline.

Unfortunately, I’m getting older and my memory sucks. I can’t remember if I sprayed Copper or Sulfur but whichever one I used, it worked.

I get this fungus or mildew or whatever it is every Spring, so I’d like to identify it.

Looks like powdery mildew, but normally, that’s a warm weather disease.

I assumed it was mildew. It’s growing almost completely on the wood itself, with a tiny amount on any leaves or flowers.

It has been about 38 at night and around 55 during the day

Bird poop? If all I’d seen was that first photo, that would have been my take on it. However, with the distribution, I’m more inclined to suspect some fungal entity.

It’s definitely not poop. It’s powdery and is present on 3 of the 7 bushes. There’s also nowhere for a bird to sit above the bushes.

I remember the dude at the local co-op told me to either spray copper or sulfur but I don’t remember which

Sulphur is sprayed on powdery mildew by many people. Sulphur lowers soil ph slightly which is not a bad thing in your case.

The sulfur took care of the mildew
