What is this white stuff on my peach trees?

Yeah math is not my best subject! Although it looks like grammar is what got me! Good info to have, thanks for looking into this.

@alan As a matter of fact, I do have a large flowering cherry tree nearby. A branch actually shades that infected peach tree a little bit. Maybe that explain why this peach tree is so heavily infected by scale while other peach and plum trees have very little infection. The flowering cherry is too high for me to check, but I will make sure the cherry get sprayed.

When I said to spray ornamental trees, I was thinking about that large, gorgeous Chinese fringe tree of mine that has leaf spot every year and a large magnolia tree. It didn’t even occur to me to spray the flowering cherry! Without you mentioning the cherry, I may keep spraying the peach but not solving the scale problem. Thank you so much!
