What is your garden shed like? (Send photos)

I could not get into my shed except for a couple feet…if lucky! Completely packed. I’ve been working on cleaning and reorganizing it for 1.5 weeks +. Selling things on FB and have also trashed a lot.

No more gardening, just trees for me, so that took care of some things in the shed. Oh, I still got grass and all the grass gear. But that is not of my choosing. It just grows with weeds and all. I tried getting rid of some of it with weed blocker and rocks. But grass and weeds eventually grew on top of the rocks, and you can’t tell rocks are even there anymore.

I had a backpack for holding a 10-pound propane cylinder. I would use it with a torch to burn the grass and try to recover the rocks. But it was a never ending and non-winnable battle. I looked at the backpack today and the straps had dry rotted from 8 years of non-use.

I think this shed was an Amish 10 x 12 and cost about $1.7 - $2K back around 2008. People live in sheds now and they are $$ as hell. I got to redo the door someday. Water rot. I had a $50 option of a small, treated wood platform on the shed and it must have splashed the water on the door a lot. I replaced the platform with rocks.

Two sheds on concrete block foundations, fully wired and plumbed.

Tools and materials on the right.

Fertigation on the left.

Gravel walkways on weed block.

Artificial turf for 9-hole putting course among the in-ground fruit trees.

Most people just call mine a house, but they’ve not been inside it.

This was right after it was built - it is less tidy now!

Wow…such organization! I’m jealous.

My husband and I are thinking of doing this in the garden between raised beds, only we were thinking of using some inexpensive outdoor carpet. Do you have any tips? How do you keep the ground tidy, like from the leaves dropping?

There is concrete under the artificial turf. The latter is purchased wholesale from landscape distributors, and glued to the concrete.

We use a shop vac with attachments. :slightly_smiling_face:
