I got Kroger bags. I need something better.
When worn on ones back I think that I like this one more than any of the ones that I can recall in the other recent thread:
I’ll be paying attention to this thread. Agree with you. Kroger bags just don’t cut it. The other night the handles broke and dumped all the apples on the ground. Happened twice.
I wear a baggy shirt and fold up my fruit in front of me.
I like to pick in a small pale or like @ribs1 said in my tshirt folded over like a pouch if im in a hurry. My orchard is setup with a wide path to drive combines, tractors etc down every 200 feet that goes east , west. The smaller paths down the orchard rows are north, south and big enough for a mower at least. There are 30+ feet between rows originally. Some plums rows have grown shut and i have to chainsaw them.back. I will move 5 gallon buckets, or bushel baskets to pickup location then load them in a truck. I use the small bucket to fill the 5 gallon bucket. If im using the picking pole i fill the bushel baskets or 5 gallon buckets directly. I use a lawnmower with a cart to get them to the truck.
