What zone is pix zee nectarine and Nectar babe nectarine

I have seen website say it is zone 6 but I also have seen it as zone 7. If it is zone 6 I would think I could easily overwinter it in my garage but I would think zone 7 is pushing it. Anyone think I could overwinter it in my zone 5 Colorado? I just hear Nectar babe and Nectar Zee are super good compared to miniature peaches.

A number of websites, rate them both at zones 6-9.So,in your location.yes, they will most likely need a artificially warmer place, during the coldest time.

Do you think the garage would do. I saw zone 6 on some websites and zone 7 on other websites is the reason I ask?

Zone 6 is the one to concerned with, since it’s the colder of the two.The average lowest temp for that is -10F in 6a.
So,if your warm place is a little higher than that, like say 0F,that will probably be okay.

If your garage is attached the trees should be fine. If not a space heater connected to a thermostat set say to zero degrees will turn it on. This worked for me but mine broke. I need a better thermostat! Anybody got any suggestions?

Oh one thing that will kill them is if you let them dry out. I found you need to water about once a month. I have overwintered mulberry, figs, and blackberries for about five years now. All rated for higher zones than mine.
In the fall leave it out until it’s good and dormant. I like using fabric bags although they dry quickly. They are winter proof and can be left out all winter. I grow currants and brambles in fabric which are left out all winter.
