What's going on with my pear grafts?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could take a look at the pictures of my pear grafts and see what is going on. I’ve done a little research and am falling short. These are Harrow Sweet and Korean Giant grafted on to a ornamental pear in my backyard. The leaves and splotchy and falling off, and the scion itself doesn’t look too healthy either. I appreciate the help and knowledge!

I had a few like that in their first year. If the leaves got too compromised I would pluck them off. If you can, get more light and air movement to the graft (ie: prune to open the tree up).

Gotcha! I’m going to watch and see if it continues to get worse. I’m mainly worried about the graft potentially failing. The Korean Giant also look much better than the Harrow Sweet.
