What's on my pristine apple

I took these today at mom and dads , there were several of these on laterals.

After looking at that photo I realized it is a little confusing. I bent the central leader down to take that photo. That Makes the lateral point up. The growth is on the bottom side of the lateral hanging like a drop of water

Looks like a bourse to me- we had a little discussion on the old site a few years back. I have only ever seen them on pears, but apparently they form on apples also- they’re a fruit bud and harmless, even good, to the best of my knowledge:
