What’s the best spray for preventing and killing leafhoppers on apple leaves?
I’ve noticed some upward leaf curl on my young apple grafts. I inspected the leaves an found some green leafhoppers.

In your question, the “prevention” part is difficult or tedious to achieve by “organic” methods because most of those remedies rely on hitting the pest directly.

Neem oil has a scent that will repel some pests but spraying it on Apple leaves in the summer is a poor idea in my climate because the combination of oil and sunshine will fry the leaves.

So a systemic is necessary for less tedious prevention and even then you’ll only reduce the numbers – not totally prevent the leafhoppers. If you want to go that route then look for something containing Acetamiprid.

Thank you. Could you recommend a systemic one?

I’m not familiar with consumer products containing Acetamiprid. I’m using the commercial brand Assail 30SG for summer sprays. For the Spring (post bloom) and Fall I prefer Voliam Flexi with a different systemic and larvicide.
