What's this on my Indian Free peach tree?

I noticed this on one of the branches on my Indian Free peach tree and was wondering what is it? And what to do about it?

Lookslike scale

Thats white peach scale. I put on garden gloves and rub it all off, then hit with oil to get any I missed.

Agree it’s scale. As Scott mentioned, physically remove/crush with gloved hand but then I hose my tree down if it’s hot and sunny. Makes it easier to inspect for any infestations I missed by removing dead ones. Then I spray with Neem oil or Neem oil with dish or insectidal soap.
