Where are you with your potted figs? Do you have enough or do you want more?
I have way too many! Like many, I went overboard once I figured out how easy they are to root. A few years of aggressive collecting from wildlands other fig growers meant that I soon overburdened myself. Most are these containers are on drip, but a few dozen get handwatered. Finding a rattlesnake lurking in between the pots has been good motivation to finally get down to a a manageable number (through mulitgrafting and culling) that will eventually go in the ground. I hope to turn 70 pots into 14 this year, wish me luck!
