White marker pen for scions

What is the name of the pen that writes in white that I see people use to write names on fig scions?

Is it a paint pen? I don’t see any paint pens that come in white.

I, too, would like to know.

You could just use a Silver Sharpie, however, sharpie also does make fine tipped paint pens.

I use ; edding 750

Mostly to write on pots, it seems to last the longest in the sun.
Came by it from @Jsacadura 's Vidio ( freeze frame)
I believe he was writing on pots and scions with it.?
Tried it, Now my favorite.

I’ve used silver sharpies to mark both fig cuttings and black plastic pots. They work well. But the edding 750 noted above may be even better. I might have to try one as soon as I lose the silver sharpie, which I’m sure won’t take me long.

So , like this .

This would work well for fat fig cutting etc. like the size of your finger. May want a finer point for smaller stuff ?
Most paint markers are not suitable for my needs,
I like these … Lasts well over a year in the sun on a pot.

Yah,’… , silver Metallic sharpie would be my second choice.
Easyer to find, easyer to use.
I can see the white better, edding 750 lasts longer than the sharpie in sun.
Should add , I have a drawer full of different paint markers I don’t like !

Looks like the edding 750 has a 2-4 mm point.
The 751 has a 1-2 mm point , so may be better for smaller stuff.? May try one ?
Also I have been using these for several years, no damage to plant material.
You have to shake them up , pump tip ,to get paint on the tip.
Some times they drip / run , so practice first.
Not like a normal marker.

I’m using black and red 751’s. Surprisingly there is a significant difference in their wear resistance - the red one is harder to rub off. The point is not very fine, but for scions thicker than a pencil would do okay.

I have always used the markals paint markers and found them to be very good, how would you compare the eddings?

Im decently surprised by the sharpie silver “paint” marker

This brand does a good job. Bought it several years ago and it still works good.
