Anyone else ever seen a white praying mantis? I saw this beauty in my greenhouse in Taos, NM this afternoon.

I saw one a few weeks ago here in Montana, hanging onto the side of a gas pump at Costco - a first for me. I’ve seen green ones and brown ones (I think) here and in Arkansas. Pretty neat.

Like marknmt, I’ve seen all three colors in Spokane: green, brown & wheat straw, although one the color of what you posted has been some years ago.

They are not white, but more tan or light brown. Praying Mantis can change their color to match the surrounding. It may take them a week to change from green to brown or the other way. I have both in the backyard. There are more green Mantis than brown. The brown one was last spotted on the wood chip or along the fence.
