Most people have never heard of arnica and I would not know about it either if not for my family. Told my family I had some stiffness and muscle aches and it’s what they recommended I use. Arnica - Wikipedia

Arnica gel or creme has been a great helper after working too hard in the garden. Always keep a gel on hand. I stopped using NSAIDs after over-reliance for many years. They took a toll on my gut. I always turn to natural and herbal methods first now.

I use the gel for body aches and bruising. It really helps, cuts pain down and stops the purple/black. Helped some severe bruising this winter that should have a much longer term.
I have never tried growing it, don’t know how to handle the plants.
