If anyone knows what type of berry tree this is, I’d love to know. My dogs have been eating the berries and I’d like to know what they are.

Looks a bit like chokecherry to me, but I’ve never seen them that large.

Yep definitely chokecherries. I agree with moose they make a great jam. You just made me realize that I have to check on mine to see if there are beginning to ripen.
they are almost here. i wait till they get solid black before picking. with the drought they are small this year but like cherries in a dry year, should be sweeter.
