I am a zone pusher here in Arkansas but I grow the finest in citrus. My mandarins are top notch varieties and have eaten for more than a month now, pretty please with mine, also Pomelo’s, lemons, persimmon and what not, love open markets like the ones they have all over Europe especially the no spray fruits.people here in the USA wouldn’t buy fruits blemish.
That is so right, they don’t mind blemishes here.
In your third pic, those were Abate Fetel, right? They looked so delish.
I went out to look at my tree. Need to wait a few more years to see any flowers or fruit
Those abate fetel aka abbe fetel do look really good. The williams aka bartlett look good as well.
Yes they are. They grow easily here. I bought four. They are amazing in elegant looks, and taste!
I like oddities like that That long neck pear is interesting looks like pura vida avocado ,
(edit correct name ) & Juan Jose avocado plainly looks like a cucumber ,
Someone said they would not sell fruit with Blemishes,
but I think it all depends where your at.
I could see in my town with a population of 200,000 not so much in Chicago the fruit would sell just fine.
Juicy and sweet. The Fetel are ripening in my kitchen.
