Nice pictures, and Happy Easter!
Very nice pics, Bob. I showed my wife the morels and she is very jealous! She likes to look for them around here, and hasn’t seen any. With all the rain we’ve had, you’d think we’d be swimming in 'shrooms. Happy Easter to you and yours!
I’m jealous, we are still about a month away from picking Morels.
I, too, expect morels in 3 weeks (SE Michigan). It has been the right type of spring. one of my patches is in the wood chips right outside my door, it is not too taxing to get those.
Wow, nice morels!
Thank you. I was out planting some persimmons when I almost ran over one. I got out of my four wheeler and beat the turkeys to them.
I meant to ask about what kind of tree is that, an apple, cherry or plum? A very nice looking tree. Do you know how old it is?
I’m still not clear on fruit blossoms’ colors. I know apple and cherry blooms can be pink or white. Wild plums around here have white ones.
That is a red delicious I believe. It has been there for at least 30+ years. It is over at my mother in-laws house.
Thanks, is the fruit pretty good? I know the store bought RD’s can be not so great, so was wondering about this one, or others’ RD trees.
Actually, these apples are very good and the tree produces large amounts every year. I’m not much for RD when compared to some others varieties like Zestars and Honeycrisp in my area. I say my area as I know Zestars and HC can be dogs across the country.
What an awesome group of photos! I hiked for 3 hours last weekend looking for Morels (dry land fish here) and didn’t see a single one. I was certain they would be everywhere with all the raid we’ve had, but no such luck! Glad you got some- nice ones at that!
