My peaches are oozing out a clear sticky substance. My suspicion is either plum curculio or oriental fruit moth. I was wondering what is the best way to identify the pest? I am considering cutting a peach open to see if I can find the culprit.

That’s a good way to find out, if the larvae are big enough to spot and identify
