Za’atar oregano (Origanum syriacum) is a somewhat upright grey-green and pungent oregano from the mint family. It is thought to be the herb referred to as hyssop in ancient times. Za’atar is also the name of a popular mediterranean spice mix. Here a photo of it from a few days ago:
