@Naeem… see there… you can grow pretty berries. I knew it…

I picked several heritage reds and fall golds today… and found 6-7 nice Eversweet strawberries, and 2 nice ripe CH Figs. going to be a nice desert for dinner tonight.

For all of you okra fans… check out the pic of one of my jambalaya okra stalks… notice all the stems where I cut the pods off… and how close they are together.

The leaf nodes on jambalaya okra are very close together… sort of like the Girrardi mulberry… so it produces a lot of fruit in a shorter amount of space. These are near 7 ft now… still producing up top.

I also have red burgandy and Clemson spineless… red burgandy is pretty but low producer. Clemson spineless very good but produced around 60% of what jambalaya does.

I got my jambalaya from hoss tools online.

First lemon guava of the season. These are usually at the peak now but most of them are still green. Might be due to lack of summer heat this year.

Desert for tonight… heritage reds, fall golds, eversweet strawberry, a few seedless Concord grapes… got about a dozen of those left…

Got another good harvest of okra for dinner tonight.

Background… pink inpatients still thriving in my food forest bed.

If their is one trip I like to do, would be up and down the shores in Portugal like I did in the early sixties. Those were trips hard to forget.
Have travel extensively through Spain and Portugal, great people.

This Nikitski Ranni won The Whopper Award this year. Huge!
Weighed 1lb.7.7oz.
I picked it this morning to take to show my granddaughters - who love to sit with me and ‘open’ a pomegranate.

Picked the last few candy hearts today. I forgot they were on there. Still tastes great.

I hacked my Big Jim loquat to add 11 varieties on it (I blame Covid for the obsession) in 2020/21. I thought I won’t get any fruits next year but looks like Argelino might develop some fruits after all. Excited to try it
