AC Harrow Crisp, Sweet and Seckel on Bradford Pear rootstock at the park

Just thought id show off our work!(: the kid had me in a rush so these arent the best, i used the omega grafting tool for 2 of the grafts so hopefully they take.

I saw asians using different grafting techniques so i thought id try one on pears. I really want to try joining two rootstocks together just to see how it grows

@Ethancactus all failed except 1 ac harrow sweet that i used an omega bit grafting tool on…. i also unwrapped the grafted area exposing it to the elements because it got too wet, but it still survived. i was shocked it lived. i believe the cleft grafts failed because moisture entered the grafts and i didnt cut wrapping to relieve moisture.

i will train it more upright here in the next few weeks.

o and i read your message and totally forgot to respond i was super busy when i opened it.
That would be awesome if you could send me the info of the man who is selling dyehouse cherry seedlings in KY. ill try to make a trade next season. i appreciate that thanks.
