I have Fusarium Wilt in my garden soil, which makes growing heirlooms almost a waste of time.
I love purple tomatoes and recently heard about a Fusarium resistant tomato called Purple Boy.
Anybody grow it?

I have grown it. I don’t have a problem with fusarium wilt, but I do have nematodes. This tomato is productive, healthy, has pretty plum sized tomatoes, and can take more heat than a slicer.
I don’t know how it tastes because I raise tomatoes to sell, and don’t eat them personally. But no one has complained about this one (they complained about vernissage black).
When I searched google, I saw 2 different tomatoes named Purple Boy. 1 looked like tiny plums that were violet and 1 was a bigger one similar looking to Cherokee Purple
Mine were plum size. I did notice that if you thin them, they get bigger. I don’t think they get as big as a Cherokee purple though. At least not in my climate.
Exmil, does anyone offer grafted tomatoes over there? Heirloom’s grafted on to disease resistant rootstock has been popular in USA.
Apparently they take easily, maybe you can do them yourself?
That top one looks like indigo rose, the bottom Cherokee purple or Cherokee carbon. You might want to check the sites selling the seeds. For example, I can buy blue strawberry seeds off amazon.
And now that I googled it, I found that totally tomatoes is claiming it is a beefsteak. I understand your confusion now. I am confused myself.
I’ve got a Purple boy tomato this year. When the tomatoes ripen, I will post a pic. But I’m in Texas, and when it gets hot early like it did this year, tomatoes don’t reach their full size and I can’t get a black tomato very easily because it gets too hot. So I’m not sure how well it will grow in your area.
Nobody does that here but I thought about it. What rootstocks to use?
Did you buy seeds or a plant?
I think most of the modern, tasteless hybrids are disease resistant. Check your local big retail giant , they usually have them. All you need is the root system.
I have one planted, but it’s my first time growing it. I got it from Costco.
Did it have a pic of what it’s supposed to look like? Check out pics above
