I read on the label that Captan can hurt your eyes.
Do you know the mechanism and the concentration at which this occurs?
I have no idea about the mechanism and the concentration but I have seen warnings about not wiping eyes with hands after picking fruit sprayed with Captan. Also requires an eye washing station for workers who enter the treated area for 7 days after spray . Short PHI to pick the fruit but possible eye problems if not handled properly Here is one example from the label under ag use requirements:
