I recently bought a DB King 4 Gal backpack sprayer. I was tired of lugging around the 3 gal cylinder tank sprayer I had before, mainly when I had to heft it up onto my shoulder to get up high.
It is nice so far, but I need something with a longer hose and/or a longer wand. I know there are often issues with parts interchangeability so I wanted to ask here.
I have the Chapin tree pro and had the same issue. I don’t remember if they offered an extension, but it was likely still too short and overpriced. I fabbed up a 2-3’ extension using 1/4” pex, a couple fittings and spare fiberglass rod with circle clamps. Been using it for 5-6 years without issue.
I have a petratool backpack and a couple wands, I know they make a long one. my pump blew out and they sent me a free one to replace it, they’re really good people
This might be too late to matter, but I recently bought a FlowZone sprayer and really like it. One of the nice features is you can get a part of it that lets you use batteries from your normal power tools ie I use my Makita batteries for it.
OESCO, Inc. will have both tubing and various parts to build a wand to your liking. If you just want a longer hose you should be able to swap it out and continue with your current wand / gun.
coming in to say another year with the petratool i got a long wand thing from them last fall and used it on the high parts of the plum. it’s sturdy as all hell and not heavy considering
