I’m 72 years old and am sometimes slow to dial up my reading magnification. I really thought I’d read alfalfa, probably because that’s something I’m familiar with.

Any chance you can post a photo of the plant that you got from them? Even if it’s 5 years later.

I got another one and it’s growth habit is that of a short lowbush type and not tall highbush like the one in that photo

I know they take FOREVER but i have extra pots just hanging around so why not? :grin:

Also going to try to breed some as well. I have almost every recommended variety in this forum and some really great tasting berries as well.

I’ve also found that a lot of the giant blueberry varieties they recently came out with in the last 10 years are sterile… :thinking:

Makes me wonder if they’re spraying something on it to make them sterile like how they do with commercial bell peppers. Hard to find on Google since they’ve been wiping that info for some reason… but they’ve been spraying a hormone on bell peppers and some sweet potatoes that makes them sterile. Gets absorbed through the plants skin and entire fruit.

Anyways, i want to try to make a hybrid between sweetcrisp and a jumbo blueberry variety. Maybe Draper, Darrow, Chandler, or the medium sized KaBluey, pink lemonade, pink popcorn.
