They were good, but they died, as did all of my ribes save a jahns prairie gooseberry. Just too hot here so I gave up on them entirely.

Bummer! I’m so sorry to hear that!

These beauties survived drought and being left outside in the cold as well as months with my ex under 0 care. The variegated minneola is so beautiful as well as the primrose that survived countless bunny and slug attacks. The primrose almost looks as if it’s glowing :star_struck:

And some dekopon as well!

Wow, that minneola is really cool looking. I never saw one like that. I have variegated lemons that have small stripes sometimes, but no color blocks.

mineolas are my favorite citrus. so much so i have one in a 8 gal. pot growing in my bedroom right now. it gives me 6-10 fruit around x mas every year. they are about 3/4 the size of a in ground tree but are so good. its 4 yrs im pot and i need to change the soil this spring. i cut it back in jan. to half what it was. it has since bushed out nicely and will be much easier to move now.

A few things growing around here…

Seng… I planted those seeds.

Gerardi mulberry my first to ripen… Lawson Dawson is going to ripen some soon.

Gerardi is tasting pretty good this year.. not outstanding yet.. but as our heat cranks up they will get better

My granddaughter has been eating all of these so far.. I got a few today.. nice flavor, sweet. I could not tell you for sure what variety.. I have planted several in this bed over the years.. surecrop, eversweet, seascape…

Ate several red gem goumi today… my fav goumi so far.. partly because it ripens a week or two or three.. ahead of the others… but has good flavor and sweetness.

Carmine

Raintree select… these are going to give Carmine some competition for largest berry.

As usual. My sweet scarlet are small and later than the others. Many still have the blossom attached.
