I usually hack my passion vine to the bones in March so the winter crop doesn’t get a chance to ripen up. This year we were out of town, so the vine is happily swallowing half of the yard now. I collected these 100 or so fruits today. There is as much more that’ll fall when I prune it. This is also the first time in 5 years I am seeing the tips being burnt by late freeze.

I was going to upload one but @vrk3 got it Sweet + tart and very fragrant. Some of my friends eat it straight out of hand, but I like to juice them and add it to orange juice.

This was my first time trying passion fruit! Exactly as you described. I also got a hint of pink guava flavor.
Today I opened one and measured the brix. I am surprised it was 17. I’d have guessed 7 or 8. Speaks to the amount of acid in the fruit. Makes sense it combines well with low-acid juices
