bumbles love them. i had so many on my 2 yr old honeybee they were weighing it down nearly to the ground last spring. plants only 12in. or so. gave me 10 berries. thankful to have a good population of bumbles. i leave piles of branches all around the yard for them.
Lots of peaches this year!
Really is a gorgeous plant:
Honeyberries also are in full bloom:
First poppy (unknown species that came with the yard) has flower stalks extending:
Here are my apricots, tiny mirabelles (but plentiful) peaches at shuck-split and the first cherries to bloom and non-pollinated apples (will have to wait one more year for that!).
Millions of wildflowers anhialated today…
Or another way to say that… the first yard mowing of the year.

TDE3 mandarin (aka Tahoe Gold™) still flowering in the greenhouse, looks like some fruitlets forming from the earliest flowers:
The sweet pepper that I over-wintered in the greenhouse has some flower buds already, too:
my dwarf mineola set 6 fruit also.
question for you citrus growers. my Mineola set 1 fruit last spring at this time. its still on there and just starting to color. i also have 6 pea sized ones that started growing last month. it it normal to have a fruit still ripening while fruitlets are just growing?
I’m new to citrus growing myself, but I think the answer is yes, that’s normal for citrus
so am i. thanks!
Went shrooming this evening for a couple hours… found not one morel mushroom. Some years they just do not show up. Will try again in a week or so.
Found all kinds of pretty wild stuff.
