@Ahmad I grafted it in 2019 to a potted rootstock then planted it out later in the summer. It’s in a rather poor soil location so the growth hasn’t been like that of my others planted in a different part of the yard. I’m not sure if that would make it fruit sooner or delay it. Some of my kaki that show a lot of vigor tend to not fruit well while the slowpokes frequently have flowers sooner.
My blueberries made a big jump this year in production… this tifblue and others are loaded this year.
i would have had a great crop also but the heavy snow pruned 60% of last years growth off my bushes. yet honeyberries barely got harmed. time to grow more honeyberries i think!
No, have not tried Southmoon. But, I’ll probably have a couple Southern highbush, at least 4 Rabbiteye, and over a dozen Northern highbush to sample and taste test this year. (Plus a handfull I’ve lost the ID tag to over the years.)
More blooms on new grafts this year. Even though not viable they sure make a pretty display.

Hello my friend that’s great your grafts look soo good! It’s Baya Marisa…
Thanks. That was a guess on the name without looking it up. My bad. I think it was from you.
Yes it was… I’m very happy for you!
I think it’s also called Tickled Pink. I did a few grafts of that one this year too.
Yes, that’s another name…
I have lots of flowers on my trees this year so I hope the pollinators do their job, I never get large amounts of bees early on when the tree first bloom but did get quite a bit of apples last year.
Kiwi look promising this year, if they don’t produce this year they are going to have to go.
Still a work in progress. I am going to put crabapple espalier all the way down the outside of the wooden fence

Luis,
Are there other Pawpaw varieties nearby the Sunflower?
Hi. Yes, they are two Sunflower big trees. The other pawpaw varieties are not near and are still small.
