Buying Indar

Despite my fruit woes over the past few years, hope springs eternal, and I need to get some Indar (the stock I had froze twice over the last five years, and was no doubt expired). It is, however, tremendously expensive for the backyard gardener, and I’ll only feel good about it if others feel like they need some too. Would there be people here who could use it? I don’t mind shipping half-pints to folks like we did back in 2017. Just a thought.

I could use a half-pint. Just let me know how much I owe you when you divide it all up. Thanks!!

I would be interested in some as well. Thanks for coordinating

I suggest you buy some HDPE bottles now. From this aliexpress link. Choice will be about 10 days.

I would be interested in a split if you are setting one up.

I would also go in on it with you

I went ahead and splurged on the Indar, and happy to ship out half-pints (57 tsps, or however much you like) to anyone who wants some. Let me know!

How much is a half pint?

I’m in, that’d be great. Please just message me details and I’ll take care of it. Thanks!

Just messaged you, but around $30 would be fine.

Is this what you got?

It says it is systemic. Doesn’t that mean it goes into the tree? Don’t you get enough poison for free from living in America?

Indar 2F is a systemic, protective fungicide designed for fruit and nut trees to manage diseases like brown rot, scab, and rust. It is commonly used on apples, stone fruit, almonds, blueberries, and cranberries, providing long-lasting, rainfast protection to fruits and leaves. [1, 2, 3]

  • Primary Use: Controlling brown rot in stone fruit (peaches, cherries, apricots).

  • Active Ingredient: Fenbuconazole.

  • Benefits: It stays on the plant surface longer and has strong curative properties, making it effective for preventing damage to fruit.

  • Application: It is a liquid formulation often applied to orchards for high-value disease control. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Note: For organic gardening, some users on growingfruit.org mention Bonide Infuse as an alternative.
