I’m researching Cinnamon Spice for our database. I was not aware that that there are recent claims it may actually be the English apple Laxton’s Fortune. The USDA database list Laxton’s Fortune it as low vigor, Early-Med season harvest. That is not consistent with the Cinnamon Spice I grow. Based on that and the conflicting accounts of Cinnamon Spice vigor posted here, I think there are two or more deferent apples being marketed as Cinnamon Spice. Cinnamon Spice apple trees were sold by several large nurseries. It’s a great name. I think Stark was selling them a few years ago.
