Here is a little more information on the seckle , large seckle aka giant. Dont overlook the seckle family of pears. That is where warren and others come from. I grow several several variations. One of my favorites is one i got from @39thparallel . I enjoy the seckle fruit very much that grows in my orchard. It is one of my favorites for flavor. That large one is excellent. I planted an entire row of those pears. I actually might have done 2 rows after eating those fruits last year. They were exceptional and larger than ayers. Similar in appearance to ayers but with a deep rich sweet flesh that i would rate very highly. I called Mike the second i ate one ripe off the tree. I said you know that rare Seckle is exceptional. He said yes it seems pretty good like i said. I wish you guys all lived down the road @JesusisLordandChrist . Small seckle is also good just like worden. None of those pears are large seckle. I thought i was looking for an extinct pear for a long time.
