I think the Kansas sun is a little hotter, which gives them just a shade more yellow color here. This is one of those things we find out as we go, i think. The cold fall nights really concentrate sugars here. All that said, i never tasted a peice of fruit better than that from California. It is the ideal climate in every way.
Richard lives in the ideal location for any type of fruit. I’m honored my small apple rated a spot in his yard. I’m very glad they grow in such a warm zone! Fantastic news! The fruit below was not sprayed.
