I was at Costco in Anchorage and they were selling a few of the Univ of S sour bush cherries and some honeyberries. This is the first time I have seen the bush cherries for sale that wasn’t a specialty online nursery. I was also surprised they had the “Valentine” cultivar- I don’t think I’ve seen that for sale anywhere else.
The honeyberries were not labeled- they only said “combination honeyberry”. I thought that was pretty poor of them. I figured it was Aurora + Borealis. You should have seen the people loading multiple pots into their carts! I guess these plants might be going mainstream somewhat.
