Just had my first Ponca berries off 2nd year plants. They do have a superior flavor like triple crown and they are early. I will probably replace some others with Ponca.

I am so happy to hear that as we have 10 Ponca plants and 10 Kiowa plants coming this year. We have wild blackberries growing around here as well which we like and eat but I was looking for some uprights so that I don’t have to trellis and also I thought might even make for a little privacy.
I also thought it would be easier to throw protection over if we had upright plants at a reasonable height.
