First time ordering (fruit) from Jung Seed review

Gotcha… all I know is that apparently I was being redirected to a fake site and now I’m not. I’m able to go to the site and look around, no issues at all.

I use AVG, the free edition. I upgraded to protect against redirecting and I’m not being redirected any more. I kind of wonder if they are the ones doing the redirecting so that I would buy their product, you know, like how apple “used to” (maybe still are, who knows?) make their old iphones run slower so that you would buy the newer version. Companies these days… you just can’t trust them lol.

Amen on that last point! (And feel free to substitute the g-term there, also.)

The site address works for me. It actually looks like they designed a new website. Looks very nice.

@MikeC it is indeed looking fine…not a bug in anybody’s computer…must have been burning the midnight oil on Sunday getting a updated site operational.

Got two trees from Jung Seed today, Yellow Transparent semi-dwarf apple and Potomac dwarf pear. Order came nicely packed, roots were still moist. Trees are tall with a nice caliper trunk. The only cons is unknown rootstock and missing tag on a pear tree.

Everything that I bought from them has survived except the Leikora Seaberry (they gave me a refund credit). I had to move the gooseberries last spring because they were struggling where I had them (due to my inattentiveness) so I lost a year of growth. Even still, I got berries from Hinnomaki Red last year and enjoyed the flavor. This year there are also berries on the other gooseberries.

I just received this onion order from them:

2 bunches Ailsa Craig Exhibition
16 bunches Candy Hybrid
2 bunches Patterson Hybrid
10 bunches Redwing Hybrid
2 bunches Sierra Blanca Hybrid
10 bunches Walla Walla
2 bunches Texas 1015y Supersweet
10 bunches Red Candy Apple

Late season order, so they were 1/2 off. They arrived in excellent condition. So far, I’ve had a great experience with Jung.

Potomac pear planted! Seems like Jung Seed sent a 2 year old tree. Doesn’t really look like a dwarf tree

and Yellow Transparent. Just curious, can someone identify rootstock by photos?

Nice looking trees. Surprises me their nursery stock looks that good. Looking like a dwarf tree and being one is totally different. What does the label say?

Jung’s send nice trees out.
But, rootstocks are not labeled in the ones I’ve purchased.
My guess is M9 but that’s a guess only.

Unfortunately label was missing on the pear tree, I hope it’s true to what I’ve ordered.

Contact them and see if they can at least give you a few choices of the ones they normally use. I did that with Stark Bros and they gave me a couple of rootstocks they normally use with the variety I had bought from them.
