Looks delicious.
Just some pointers if head back to Asheville…
I always hit up all-you-can-eat crab legs or roast beef buffet at the fancy OmniGrove Inn hotel during sunset (so much other food available, just fun to do with my sister and her kids… unlike the expensive hotel itself, it’s not a fancy dinner, but I think not very expensive for how much food/variety/DESSERTS you can eat… if you can time it, can see the sunset over the mountains if you can get a window seat). Christmas time, you can see gingerbread contest houses setup around the hotel.
And Rocky’s Hot Fried Chicken Shack (Nashville style fried chicken in Asheville hehe … it feels like chicken with powder caked on and fried but it’s amazing), spiced at the pretty spicy “Rockys hot” spice level

My older daughter is a pastry chef in Asheville, and my son-in-law is an airborne paramedic. I’ve not visited there because they tend to travel here (Vista, CA).
