Ginger Gold apple

Bevan’s Favorite is a young graft (thank you), and no chance I get to sample it for a couple more years. Carolina Red June is like Red Devil and some others I acquired 4 or 5 years ago and grafted…hasn’t grown much. (No matter, it is sour and gets fireblight as i recall from childhood.)
Had one called Striped SWeet bear a couple fruits…something ate them before i picked them…around end of June as I recall.

Ginger Gold … i sold the Frankentree, but still have it on B-9…little thing.

Looking for an early baking apple so I’m giving it a fair chance

Try Monark apples. A big early great tasting apple.

I picked the lowest hanging Ginger Gold of the 3 remaining on the tree for fear the deer were going to harvest it. Tasted great, but mild. The seeds were just a bit light still so I’ll let the two remaining fruits hang a bit longer. First year this tree has fruited (grafted in 2017 on a wild seedling), and the fruits are huge!
