Did you see the video attachment towards the end of the video about doing a graft using a drill bit? Very interesting concept.

I didn’t on that … but previous seasons I’ve seen guys and drill bits doing grafting.

I’ve seen that before with Italians grafting plum trees. I had thought it might be an excellent way to get espaliers started immediately at the right heights for the layers.

I watched most of his videos, he does some things that are a little unconventional but with good results. I like to learn new techniques and he at least shares a few that seem to work.
