If your in the zone 8b portion of Utah I would keep them if you have a chance of them making fruit as done in California. If your in the 4b portion of Utah and there are just a few I would remove them. Zone stretching may or may not be an option I’m not familiar with that climate.
I have seen a few cases where these late bloomers get FB. I snip them off as soon as noticed.

Good point. I have not seen any of these get FB here. If that is even a small chance I will cut them off from now on.

I’m in 7 right outside Salt Lake City going through the hottest summer on record.

rootbound autoflowering happens when the plant is under stress and tries to reproduce because it thinks something bad is going to happen and it doesn’t have much time to save its progeny

I would definately cut them off in zone 7 because they will not make fruit.
