I was just talking to my wife how i want to get my houseplants outside to give them a proper spraying. All i need is 40Fs and sunshine. I think weâll see that soon. Iâd love to wash my car too but the streets are going to be a mess for a few days i thinkâŚthey didnât really plow them the last few small snowfalls so the slop will be everywhere.

4.5 inches of snow. It has been mild though (upper 20Fs.) Here is a storm that at least mid/late last week the GFS is wrong about (had us getting about 2 inches). Calling for 40F today.
73F in Houston yesterday. Those people must have thought it was a heatwave after that stretch of cold.
Yeah it wasnât a record breaking stretch around here, but more just the duration of the cold. Usually when you get such cold temps even up here, youâll jump right back to freezing or warmer in a few days. This time it didnât really happen.
Extended GFS has some very mild air (biking weather)⌠just need to melt off this glacier.

We had heavy snow yesterday afternoon. But the air temperature is abov 32 so it didnât add any to the snow pile. Snow is slowly melting down

37F sunny and south wind. Lot of melt this afternoon. Looks like we stay above freezing for the next week so should really see this snowpack start disappearing. This is almost perfect for the meltâŚwarmâish days and freezing nights. When the ground is still frozen solid, water has to flow into rivers/low spots.
We are supposed to be 65 degrees warmer tomorrow than 1 week ago. Get the speedo out!

Same here. I see the low was 35F. Looks like the overnight temps drop later this week (back around 20F). Still looks sunny and not much in the way of precip for awhile. Canât wait for most of this snow to be gone.
I had a robin in my garage this morning --they love building nests on my garage door opener motor. 1st one iâve seen.
Weâre heading to 50âs today and 60 tomorrow. Maybe a good day to get the leaves out of the goldfish pond!
