How is your weather? (Part 1)

Unexpected hail storm in Seattle

That was right at the start, been coming down steadily for almost 10 min now, but starting to mix over to rain.

Got up to 40F today, a gorgeous day . Snow is melting away. If it can stay this warm for couple of days. Snow should be all gone. I started pepper and tomatoes indoor

You can finally wash your car around here. The roads are clear again, except still lots of road salt and sand. I already see some rust forming on my 2012 ford (and we car wash it regularly even in winter). I need an aluminum car or plastic!

Hit 46F here yesterday. Felt very mild. Clouds mid 30Fs and north winds today. Little cooler now for the rest of the week. Sat shows maybe mid 40Fs again.

Supposed to get to 63 or 64 here…needs to climb 10 degrees to get there.

Most of our snow/ice melted Mon and Tues…but some hangs in where sun doesn’t shine.

Saw 69 degrees on the Bank sign. Pulled off the flannel shirt. Very nice.

We reached 59 degrees today. First half of the day we had sun. Just enough to melt most of the snow and the ice underneath. Second half of the day we had light rain. It’s nice to see the weather changing. Hopefully not too fast tho.

Got up to 45F today…some sun this morning but became cloudy…again. We’ve had a lot of clouds around here lately which is frustrating with the sun getting higher in the sky. A couple of sunny days coming up but with cold air in place it will struggle to reach 32F.

39 and sunny here today. I laid out in the sun for the first time since October. Felt great to get sun on my face and belly!

Looks very mild to the north. Should really see significant melt all over. We’ve already lost a lot of snowcover here this week.

Second week of March.

I’m supposing that’s the chicken’s house.
(Unless you’re into that ‘tiny house’ movement!)

Fabulous house!

This looks nice, but hopefully my fruit trees don’t break dormancy too early

Yesterday got to 73F today just a bit lower. Tomorrow in the high 60’s. I am lucky for growing fruit this year! My peach is filled with blossom buds, as are my apples, Mirabelle, Lemon and new Apricot.

Yes, its our chicken house. A smaller earlier version is past it on the right. It was snowing really hard, but you dont get the feel of it from the picture. I sided it with barnwood from my son-in-law. The boards were hard as crap. I had to pull old nails and predrill the holes, but I really like how it turned out. Looks like the auto-door was still open. I think the light thermostat is set at 37 degrees, so its colder than that.

We have a mostly snow storm moving through which should end with a brief period of rain. Sunday looks great…another storm on Monday then a COLD and windy Tuesday…then phew, looks like a great stretch after that!
