Record on Monday is 67F from 1894. We should top that.

We got to 81°f today! Snow still around too, so had a snowball fight in my summer apparel.

My daffodils are poking their head out. My son has snowdrops blooming.

Omaha, NE was in the 80Fs yesterday too. We hit 72F.

Should be in the 70Fs Friday again before a big rainstorm/cooler temps.

We had a high of 50.4F here at the house yesterday. I spent the day at the orchard doing winter pruning, still 2 feet of snow down there. Ended up with my face sunburned, should have put sunblock on, I’ll be sure to do so today. The crust on the snow has melted away so I’ll be pruning today with snowshoes.

Beautiful days this week. It’s so nice Monday, Tuesday, we moved our pickleball games to outdoor courts.

I have been pruning my fruit trees recently ,and am planning to spray lime Sulphur fungicide on Friday if wind is bad

70Fs Friday…maybe 80F??? Much needed rain coming this weekend.

Deterministic NBM output, still below the 50th percentile of all the components going into the blend, continues to trend warmer, now in the mid 70s, with the of reaching 80 at 20-30% in parts of northeastern Iowa and right along the Mississippi River. Given the fact that deterministic output is under the 50th percentile, have leaned temperatures upward just a bit. In any case, record highs, mainly in the mid 70s, are in jeopardy Friday afternoon.

Forecasters talking tornadoes some places. Tis the season.

We finally got enough rain to get the ground wet! Not much more than that but will take what we can get. We’ve had enough wind this week that I couldn’t work on house 2 days so far.

Wind howled all night and it’s still blowing hard. Hopefully I can still get some walls stood up today.

We’ve been getting rain/snow here in northern California this week. Systems that bring March snow on the hills here often produce tornados when they reach the Midwest.

Great, I just got new roof from strong wind/microburst/ tornado alike last year :flushed: . The cost of replacing a new roof will increase a lot this year. I try to redo my driveway, the quote I got made me decided to patch it instead

80F right now but it’ll be snowing tomorrow night so …blah. 60Fs again Monday but colder next week. I would imagine the apricots might start swelling but haven’t looked yet.

Yesterday is was hailing in Folsom and Sacramento. Today is 45 feels like 35 from the crazy wind. Blowing trees down. So much for spring seems like we’re going from winter to summer.

Spring feels to be in full effect here, some blueberries pluots and nectarines blooming with peaches and pears hot on their heels

Storm was kind of a turd here. Not much rain, some lightning but not much. Just clouds and 50Fs today. Mid week has the potential of a big snowstorm for someone in Wisconsin. It’ll be heavy wet slop.

My brother said he saw a big barge heading up the Mississippi River yesterday so not sure if its open all the way to Minneapolis but maybe it is. It’s all open around here. A few mornings ago i probably saw 50 bald eagles (or more?) On a big sheet of ice in Shopko Bay (you drive past it on i90). They really stack up this time of year looking for fish.
