Around 4 inches of rain in the last day. I picked most of my redhavens just before the rain yesterday. My Hosui pears will be ripe soon, I hope not too many crack.

After a very warm/cold extreme Winter, very warm and dry Spring and early Summer, the weather has turned mild and very damp. Heavy dew, rain, much cooler temps. 2 plus inches of rain in the forecast for next week.

Thank you. They’re crazy smart dogs. Amazing how fast he picks up new tricks. The only downside is he will eat a lot of the backyard fruit if I let him roam freely

I have a mini Aussie and it must be a neuro divergent. It loves cat crap more than anything. I bought him to help keep the deer and groundhogs out of the yard, but all he wants to do is troll around for smelly treasures and sleep in the house. He will not eat, defecate, or urinate if my wife is not in near proximity. He acts like he’s dying if the temps are above 80 degrees. He is also prone to pancreatitis and is arthritic at age 7.

104F in Florence today! Inferno!

I saw parts of NY got over 10 inches of rain. That is a lot of rain in a short amount of time.

Should rain most of the day of Friday here. We need it bad. The marsh that divides the north/south part of town was about dry yesterday. Usually, it has plenty of water in it. The grass is crusty now. Even my purple coneflowers look like they got baked.

we arent to that yet but close. a few hard showers have kept us green. super muggy now. and mid 70’s back into 80’s for the weekend.

Moderate drought on the latest monitor report. It’ll be worse on the next one unless we get 3-4” soon. It hasn’t rained in 3+ weeks and we’ve been in the 90s. Plenty of corn and beans turning brown on light soil.

No rain here! I’ve had to be watering everything… And it’s still supposed to be dry next few days. Tired of watering.

Are there fires where you live in France?

A nice light rain here this morning. NWS says it should add up to an inch or more by the time its done. A lot more falls south of here (2 to 3 inches) which has been a common theme this whole spring/summer season.

Did you ever try to train them to dig? Mine knows dig as a command but it’s really a light scratching of the dirt. I wonder if I could get him to dig a planting hole on command.

Mine loves to pull on my other dogs leash, which must be his herding instinct. It can get pretty annoying at times and I haven’t been able to train it out of him

thats funny! my male likes to dig and they like to tug of war with rope toys. it wears them right out. my male is double his mothers weight so he basically pulls her around.

3.5+ inches of rain in less than 24 hours with more lingering around. Good possibility of over 4 inches when it finally clears up.

Probably around half inch here but raining the hardest it has all day. Temp down to 64F. So nice getting rid of the heat. Extended looks a lot nicer with high temps only in the low 80F and nights around 60F.
