Indar

Anyone selling any Indar or wanting to go in on a split? I have about 50 trees so definitely do not need the entire gallon.

I’d go in on a split if someone else did the leg work. FWIW I’m ok if whoever does this makes some extra money for their work.

$360 from Keystone. That stuff is not cheap.

$360 plus appx $20 shipping for the order. Probably best to divide it into 8 pints, so $47.50 a pint just to divide. Plus the cost for 8 bottles and packaging to resend. Maybe another $8 each? So $55.50, maybe. I’d be ok paying $65 or $70 (maybe more) plus shipping for a pint myself so whoever does the legwork gets a free pint plus makes a few bucks. I have several dozen trees and one pint lasted me 5 years or so. *Edit–> shipping from Keystone might be more than $20, I was using my zip for the estimate which is pretty close to PA

What dilution are you using - oz indar to gallons?

How big are your trees (rootstock)?

Someone does that almost every year and has no problem getting people to throw in. I’d be interested in getting in on the next one.

I priced it and with tax and shipping it comes out to $417 for the gallon. Im not opposed to doing the legwork if I get enough interest.

I’d do a pint if you do 8ths. Tape the lid on.

There should be additional cost for quality containers and lids. I wouldnt try going with something flimsy like pop bottles.

I’ve used these Amazon.com: UMETASS Plastic Container Lab Chemical Reagent Bottles 16.9oz Liquid Solid Storage Bottles Sample Storage Container Sealing Bottle with Cap for Food Storage (Translucent, 16.9oz,6 PACK) : Industrial & Scientific

in the 250ml size without issue. I couldn’t find Nalgene reagent bottles.

I’m thinking maybe this is better done in March or something? Thinking about shipping temperature.

I believe the Indar label says do not freeze, but I’m not 100% sure

I could do that. I’m in San Diego so no risk of freezing on my end but definitely other parts of the country

Keystone ships from PA and ID. It may freeze on the way to you

gotcha…that makes sense…im going to reach out to them and see how they ship it in order to prevent freezing

I learned of another source a bit cheaper than Keystone on this forum and got my last jug of it from there. However, I forget the name of the company. It is a family owned business without a huge selection of pesticides.

I purchased a bottle. Would you like a pint?

I would like a pint

It you sell out, I’d be willing to sell a pint or two. I’d just need someone to help me pick out the container.

Just checking, did you decide how you would ship?
