I have not seen that here, of course I would shake up before using. Never saw anything come out of solution. I had one bottle 7 years. I do keep at room temp. It always did the job I needed it to do. If I don’t spray my grapes will become infected. Not sure what it is? mummification or powdery mildew. It kills the grapes. Sulfur will stop it from spreading, but I try to avoid getting it with at least a couple preventative sprays.
Maybe this different brand will keep better. I kept it in the heated basement, too. The kind I used to get was no longer available in Wisconsin, so I ordered about six bottles of pet dip from chewy.com, I believe it was called. It seemed to do the job.
Newer posts seem to indicate that it is the same strength.
I have a small bottle that I ordered from one of the online pet sites.
The bottle split. Thank goodness I had stored it in a ziplock - but what a mess.
I had to transfer it to a small glass jar. Stinky Stuff. And very ‘colorful’.
Did you use the pet dip at full strength? What was the ratio you used for a gallon of water. for dormant spray.
I figure a bit over 1 1/2 tablespoon pet dip per gallon of water. The oil is about 1/4 cup per gallon.
thank you, i looked all over, and could never find a definitive answer.
in subtropical climate, temperate fruit tree often did not fall leaf /dormancy properly.
we spray lime-sulfur to force dormancy.
